Chyawanprash is one of the anti-ageing supplements, which is purely herbal in nature. It has Amla as its main ingredient, which is a powerful antioxidant. Master Charaka is the first to mention this herbal medicine.

Side effects-
Some patients may feel increased heat and burning sensation, heart burn.
However, if taken along with milk, in Kapha dominant period of the day (morning), the burning sensation can be minimized, if not nullified.
It can increase body heat.
Some patients may complain of loose stools.
Because it contains sugar, it is best to avoid in diabetic patients, with uncontrolled sugar.
