Indications- 

It is used in the treatment of deafness, paralysis, locked jaw, neck stiffness, dwarfism, low back ache, spondylosis, sciatica, and such other vata disorders. It is also used in skin conditions associated with itching and discolouration such as itching, pruritus, vitiligo. 

Uses- 

It is used for external application, oral -administration, Basti treatment (enema) etc, based on Ayurvedic doctor’s advice. 

It can be used upto 1-2 months based on doctor’s prescription. 

Side Effects 

It may cause excessive burning sensation. 

This medicine should only be used under medical supervision. 

Pregnant ladies, Lactating mothers and children should avoid this oil.

Paste prepared from 48 g each of 

Maricha – Black pepper – Piper nigrum 

Trivrit – Operculina turpethum 

Danti – Baliospermum montanum 

Arushkara – Purified Marking Nut – Fruit – Semecarpus anacardium 

Gomayarasa – Cow dung water 

Devadaru – Himalayan cedar (bark) – Cedrus deodara 

Haridra – Turmeric rhizome – Curcuma longa 

Daru Haridra – Tree Turmeric (stem) – Berberis aristata 

Mamsi – Nardostachys jatamansi 

Kushta – Saussurea lappa 

Chandana – Sandalwood – Santalum album
